Holly Johnson Bio

Holly Johnson began her dance training at age three under the direction of Betty Hayes Baxter. She taught for Betty Hayes School of Dance for over 15 years. Holly opened Dance Elite in 2001 with her first location in Mazomanie and opened her 2nd location in 2004 in Fennimore, WI and in 2011 she opens her 3rd location in Richland Center, WI in 2011. Holly continues to operate 2 studios which are in Richland Center and Prairie du Chien. Holly is excited to be celebrating her 21st season as a studio owner.

Holly has studied under Gus Giordano, Joe Tremaine, Wade Robson, Brian Friedman, Twyla Tharp, Shane Sparks, Mia Michaels and many other professional dancers. Holly as had the opportunity to teach at the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts conventions. She has also had other opportunity to choreograph for many community theater productions in Southwestern, Wisconsin.

The Dance Elite competitions teams have ranked very high at the National levels. Dance Elites main mission is to create a family fun environment, with a focus on exposing your dancer to a high standard dance education.

Holly’s bright smile, enthusiasm and love of dance makes her a hit with all her students.
